PROGRAMME

„THINK EUROPEAN – ACT REGIONAL” - the European Energy Service Day is designed as major network event of EESI on European level to bring together European decision makers, ESCOs, energy agencies, associations and regional stakeholders. The EU Energy Services Directive and the National Energy Efficiency Action plans already include regulations to strengthen the use of energy services, nevertheless project development and implementation is carried out by regional actors, institutions and initiatives. The “European Energy Service Day” will help to foster energy services in Europe.

The importance of the Day is demonstrated by the fact that Connie Hedegaard, Commissioner for Climate Action, Janez Potočnik, Commissioner for the Environment, Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for Regional Policy and Philip Lowe, Director General for Energy are key speakers on this day.
